OG Anunoby will miss a second straight game with a hamstring strain, coach Mike Brown told reporters ahead of Game 4 against the Sixers.<\/p>\n
Miles McBride started in Anunoby’s place two nights ago, and there’s little reason to assume that would change today.<\/p>\n
While Anunoby’s injury has been described as minor, he wasn’t able to go for Game 3. Now, with the Knicks holding a 3-0 lead in the series, they have some cushion to play with for Anunoby. If they win today, the Knicks should have a decent amount of time off before the conference finals — against either the Pistons or Cavaliers — starts, with Detroit holding a 2-1 lead in that series. Presumably, their hope would be to get Anunoby back for Game 1.<\/p>\n
Of course, they’ll have to finish the job against the Sixers first.
