Karl-Anthony Towns<\/a> is quite proud of his New York Knicks squad reaching the Eastern Conference Finals<\/a> for the second straight year after blowing out the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> 144-114 in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Towns has boasted plenty of playoff experience since his years with the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>. He was coming off a West Finals appearance in 2024 before Minnesota traded him to New York<\/a>. As a result, this marks the third consecutive year that he features in a Conference Finals.<\/p>\n

Towns reflected on the achievement<\/a> after the game. He praised the collective mindset he and his teammates had that allowed them to stay focused on their main objective of making a deep run in the postseason.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year we just have another year with each other, it\u2019s just us being very locked into the moment and understanding there\u2019s a lot more work to do,\u201d Towns said.<\/p>\n

How Karl-Anthony Towns, Knicks played against 76ers<\/p>\n

Karl-Anthony Towns and the Knicks are on a mission to get New York to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999. Sweeping the 76ers in four games in the East Semifinals, they are one round closer to making that goal come to fruition.<\/p>\n

New York was relentless from start to finish, taking a 43-24 lead after the first quarter. They outscored Philadelphia<\/a> 79-59 in the next two periods, making it impossible for the hosts to make a rally in the elimination game.<\/p>\n

Six players scored in double-digits for New York in the win, including Towns. He finished with a stat line of 17 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, and two blocks. He shot 5-of-7 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. Miles McBride<\/a> led the team with 25 points and four rebounds, Jalen Brunson<\/a> came next with 22 points and six assists, Josh Hart<\/a> had 17 points and nine rebounds, while Mikal Bridges<\/a> and Landry Shamet<\/a> provided 12 points each.<\/p>\n

The Knicks will look forward to their next opponent in the Eastern Conference Finals, awaiting the winner between the Detroit Pistons<\/a> and the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a>. The series will commence next week within mid-May.<\/p>\n
