(WSAW) &#8211; For the third time in the past four years, Marathon boys head basketball coach Adam Jacobson has been named the NewsChannel 7 Boys Basketball Coach of the Year. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jacobson has led the Red Raiders to four Marawood Conference championships in the last five years. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">NewsChannel 7 Sports Director Ben Helwig surprised Jacobson with the award Monday morning. Jacobson was surrounded by his players and assistant coaches. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThere\u2019s a lot that goes into this. We talk a lot about a proud past and a promising future, and we try to take great pride in that. And there\u2019s a lot of people that goes into that. From your Little Red Raiders, your youth coaches that put a ton into this, the coaches that we have. We\u2019re very fortunate we have minimal turnover, we have a tremendous staff.
