Phoenix Suns wing Dillon Brooks<\/a> does not anticipate LeBron James<\/a> calling it a day just yet. After watching James and the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> getting swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> on Monday, Brook predicted that \u201cThe King\u201d will return for at least one more season before riding off into the sunset.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s his last year,\u201d Brooks told Yahoo Sports\u2019 Kelly Iko.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI think he got one more in him. Per multiple insiders, James is still undecided on his next move, something he expressed after his record-breaking 23rd season concluded.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat my future holds, I don\u2019t know,\u201d James said after the Lakers\u2019 season ended.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, we\u2019re still fresh from losing. I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know what the future holds for me as it stands right now tonight.<\/p>\n \u201cI got a lot of time, I\u2019ll sit back and recalibrate with my family. I think a lot has been made about Luka\u2019s fitness level and his dedication to that. He was great throughout the season. He\u2019s still in fantastic shape six weeks after an injury. But he\u2019s also grown as a leader.\u201d<\/p>\n Per multiple insiders, the Lakers are hesitant to pay James max dollars, while dealing with the free agency situations of Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura<\/a> and Luka Kennard, besides attempting to sign 3-and-D wings and athletic bigs to build around Doncic. The Lakers could open up more than $50M in cap space if they let James walk.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s an incredible partner,\u201d Lakers GM Rob Pelinka said of James on Tuesday.<\/p>\n \u201cHis basketball IQ on the court is something we get to see as fans. JJ and I get to see his basketball knowledge in terms of other players in the league and the way he wants to play and who he wants to play with.
