Since the NBA Draft Lottery, teams have let it be known that everything is on the table when it comes to trading their pick. The Washington Wizards don’t seem to mind moving back from the No. 1 pick, but the Utah Jazz seem to have interest in moving up<\/a> to the top spot to get their guy, which is most likely AJ Dybantsa.<\/p>\n

Despite the trade rumors, as of now, it looks like the Jazz will be staying where they are<\/a>, according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the Hoop Collective this morning, Bontemps said he feels confident that the Jazz will not be trading up for #1. Does not see Danny and Austin Ainge being willing to give premium assets. Utah will be very happy taking whoever the Wizards don’t. Windhorst says Wizards are sending out signals that they’re willing to deal, but it may not be the Jazz who move up,\u201d David Smith of Salt Lake Hoops wrote on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n

If the Wizards stay at the No. 1 pick, there is a chance that they take Dybansta, which still leaves the Jazz with some good options. It could be Darryn Peterson, or it could be Cameron Boozer or Caleb Wilson. This draft is deep enough that teams can’t make an easy decision on who to select.<\/p>\n

Recently, Jazz owner Ryan Smith noted that everything is on the table<\/a> when considering moving up in the draft.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don’t control that,\u201d Smith said. \u201cWe are trying to win a championship. So everything should be on the table. Austin and Danny (Ainge) have also been known to do some pretty crazy stuff on draft night.\u201d<\/p>\n

There is still a lot of time between now and the draft, and anything can happen. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see at least one trade go down before the draft.<\/p>\n
