A consensus top-three selection for most of the 2025-26 collegiate basketball season, Cameron Boozer<\/a> of the Duke Blue Devils is looking to rise as far up as he can during the 2026 NBA Draft Combine.<\/p>\n

However, given the status of top prospects AJ Dybantsa (BYU) and Darryn Peterson (Kansas), that may turn out to be a difficult task.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Utah Jazz<\/a> insider Chandler Holt, Boozer was asked a difficult question by Jazz owner Ryan Smith during a meeting between the team and the Duke forward.<\/p>\n

The question was, \u201cCarlos (Boozer) could only take us to the Western Conference Finals. What do you think you could do?\u201d<\/p>\n

Of the four teams Carlos Boozer<\/a> (Cameron’s dad) played for in the NBA, he spent the most time with Utah, playing there for six of his 13 seasons.<\/p>\n

That said, Jazz owner Ryan Smith wasn’t there for any of them, having owned the team since December of 2020.<\/p>\n

Either way, it’ll be interesting to see if Boozer had the right answer for Smith, as the Jazz will likely have the chance to select him with the No. 2 overall selection in June.<\/p>\n
