While their goal of winning their first NBA championship since 2004 came up short against the Cleveland Cavaliers, losing in seven games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Pistons still took some impressive strides this season.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-1\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6y\">With the expectations to take a step forward next season by reaching the NBA Finals and winning a championship, the Pistons enter the offseason with their fans hoping general manager Trajan Langdon will make a bold trade to give Cade Cunningham a co-star.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"71\">Lauri Markkanen, Michael Porter Jr., and Trey Murphy III are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nba\/pistons\/onsi\/3-win-now-trade-targets-for-the-detroit-pistons-01ks2yjkrvkv\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">among the few potential players<\/a> that the Pistons could pursue this offseason. If the Pistons are to make a trade, several key depth pieces could be dealt. During the regular season, Jenkins averaged 9.3 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game for the Pistons.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7l\">In the Pistons&#8217; playoff series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jenkins started in three games and scored in double figures in all of his starts, including a postseason high 19 points in Detroit\u2019s 117-113 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/recap\/_\/gameId\/401871337\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Game 5 overtime loss<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7o\">Jenkins is a player that many Pistons fans would love to keep on their roster. Given how he was the Pistons&#8217; leading three-point shooter this season, Robinson is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nba\/pistons\/onsi\/the-one-player-detroit-pistons-can-t-afford-to-lose-this-offseason-01ks5a3q3x4e\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the last players that fans would want to see traded away<\/a>, but it would be worth the risk to acquire a player like Lauri Markkanen or Michael Porter Jr.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-15\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8s\">Robinson was the Pistons&#8217; third-leading scorer behind Cade Cunningham and Tobias Harris during the postseason, averaging 11.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.
