The Chicago Bulls<\/a> are currently gearing up for the NBA offseason to be in full swing, having already brought in Bryson Graham<\/a> to lead their new front office. The Bulls also need to find a new coach to replace Billy Donovan, but for now, many are already looking ahead to what transactions Chicago might make this summer.<\/p>\n

Recently, Bulls insider Joe Cowley of the Chicago<\/a> Sun-Times made a prediction for a familiar face Chicago might bring in<\/a> via free agency.<\/p>\n

\u201cAyo Dosunmu<\/a>, welcome back home! With only a handful of teams looking to spend some money this summer, the Bulls grab Dosunmu to help with the rebuild after Minnesota<\/a> can\u2019t afford to bring him back,\u201d predicted Cowley.<\/p>\n

Indeed, the Bulls are one of the few teams with real money to spend this summer, and bringing back Dosunmu after just a few months apart could work wonders for Chicago moving forward.<\/p>\n

Dosunmu was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> prior to the deadline this past year, and played well during his time there, contributing some elite defense, perimeter shot-making, and some impressively polished playmaking chops.<\/p>\n

In fact, in one playoff game against the Denver Nuggets<\/a>, Dosunmu poured in a career-high of 43 points in an epic win to help Minnesota secure the upset in that series.<\/p>\n

Bringing back Dosunmu would give the Bulls some much-needed perimeter defense to implement on a team that is largely challenged on that side of the ball.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen how much Dosunmu will command on his next contract, but his price certainly went up after his strong stint in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

NBA free agency is slated to open for business on the evening of June 30.<\/p>\n
