Whoever drafts former BYU star AJ Dybantsa<\/a> in the 2026 NBA Draft is getting a potential bona fide superstar. This draft class is deep with talent, but with the draft now under a month away, AJ Dybantsa has seen his name atop almost every single NBA mock draft.<\/p>\n

After the draft lottery, the Washington Wizards<\/a> will select first, followed by the Utah Jazz<\/a>, Memphis Grizzlies<\/a>, Chicago Bulls<\/a>, and Los Angeles Clippers<\/a>. As it stands now, there have been no rumors of the Wizards considering trading down from the top spot. If they stay at No. 1, then it is more than likely that Dybantsa will find himself in the nation\u2019s capital. There is also the chance that he remains in Utah if the Jazz were to trade up to take him<\/a>, or he falls to the second pick.<\/p>\n

The future NBA star recently joined the All The Smoke Podcast. He was asked about what it means for him to go No. 1.<\/p>\n

\u201cI been number 1 since my first rankings came out. ESPN ranked me number 1 in 9th grade. I was like 14 and I ain\u2019t drop. So I don\u2019t plan on dropping in the draft.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few weeks back, after the Wizards won the lottery, Dybansta gave his stance on why the Wizards should draft him<\/a> first.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m super versatile, I think I can bring a lot to the team on and off the court. I think I play the game the right way, but I\u2019m exciting. I fill seats,\u201d Dybantsa said.<\/p>\n

The NBA Draft is June 23 and 24.<\/p>\n
