People leaving Scottie off the ballot altogether is insane to me.<\/p>\n

That is, that is what I can’t get to.<\/p>\n

I, I actually, I just wanna set the All-NBA stuff alone for a minute, ’cause I do think, like, there was the cold end to the season for him as kind of a scorer that kinda hurt him compared to how deep the class was, but, like, he still very much had a case for All-NBA third team.<\/p>\n

I genuinely just want to have conversations with voters that just did not have Scottie on their main ballot.<\/p>\n

That’s probably the one that upset me more than anything.<\/p>\n

‘Cause in what world Like, he had If you want event creation, Scottie had that.<\/p>\n

If you want defensive versatility, you got that.<\/p>\n

If you just want size on the back line, he has that.<\/p>\n

The Raptors were a top 10 defense and were flirting around with a top five defensive rating for large chunks of the season, and this is after the weird start that we talked about back in October on the podcast.<\/p>\n

How do you get to Scottie was not a top 10 defender this year?<\/p>\n

Forget the first team or second team argument for a moment.<\/p>\n

How do you leave him off of a ballot?<\/p>\n

I think that opens up some very, some understandable concerns for, like, Raptor fans, where it’s like, who– are, are the voters watching our team type thing.<\/p>\n

Because that is the kind of vote, or lack thereof, that signals you did not pay enough attention to what the Toronto Raptors were doing.<\/p>\n

And I understand with how muggy the offense could get sometimes for the team, like, it wasn’t always the most fun watch.<\/p>\n

That defense was insane.<\/p>\n

What Scottie Barnes was asked to do was insane, and he was incredibly good.<\/p>\n

I don’t get to how he was not a top 10 defender for people.<\/p>\n
