On Saturday, the Spurs and the Thunder will meet one last time this season for a winner-take-all Game 7. The winner will head to the NBA Finals<\/a> to face the waiting New York Knicks, while the loser will go home. Let’s take a look at what’s ahead for the final game of the 2026 Western Conference Finals on NBC and Peacock<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

How to Watch Spurs vs. Thunder Game 7<\/p>\n

The San Antonio Spurs<\/a> and the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> will tip off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 30, live on NBC and Peacock<\/a> from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. Coverage begins with NBA Showtime on Peacock <\/a>at 7 p.m. ET before transferring over to NBC at 7:30 p.m. for an extended pre-game look at the matchup ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mike Tirico will call the action, as he has every other game in this series, alongside analysts Reggie Miller and Jamal Crawford, with courtside reporting from Ashley ShahAhmadi and Zora Stephenson.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What to expect from Spurs vs. Thunder Game 7: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. Victor Wembanyama<\/p>\n

There’s been no consistent pattern to the wins and losses in this series. Only once has a team won two straight (OKC in Game 2 and Game 3), and each team has won in the other’s house, so we can’t even draw the 3-3 record out along home court lines. What is clear, though, is that much of the action in these games has revolved around one man, and it’s not league MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When Victor Wembanyama<\/a> digs deep and plays his best, the Spurs come out on top over the Thunder. We saw it in Game 1, and again in Game 4, and again in the Spurs’ trouncing of the Thunder in Game 6. The Thunder have the better scoring bench, the more physical defense, and the ability to grind out baskets through second-chance putbacks, so if Wemby only shows up playing well, they can usually pull ahead and stay there. If Wembanyama takes over the game, like he did in the opening minutes of Game 6, the Thunder are in trouble, because his performance elevates everyone around him. Expect heavy pressure on him from the Thunder defense in Game 7, and expect the Spurs to try and use their legendary speed to swarm to the ball and create space.\u00a0<\/p>\n
