Los Angeles Clippers forward Nicolas Batum put his waterfront home in Cornelius, North Carolina, on the market Friday. He’s asking $6 million. The Mediterranean-style mansion sits on 1.35 acres along Lake Norman and covers more than 10,320 square feet.<\/p>\n
Batum bought the place in 2016 for $3.725 million, according to PropertyShark records. The sale marks one of his last connections to Charlotte, where he played for the Hornets from 2015 to 2020.<\/p>\n
The French forward spent five seasons with Charlotte before the team waived him. He was on the roster the last time the franchise made the playoffs in 2016. The 37-year-old has spent more than a decade in the league, including stints with the Portland Trail Blazers and Philadelphia 76ers.<\/p>\n
The three-level home features six bedrooms, six full baths and three half-baths. Inside, you’ll find high ceilings, an elevator, custom millwork, a wine vault and a theater. The primary suite has a sitting area, a dressing room that connects to the outdoors through French doors, and a bathroom with a soaking tub and rain shower.<\/p>\n
Many rooms offer views of the water. There’s also a dedicated shoe closet and a boutique-style dressing room with custom closets.<\/p>\n
The backyard includes covered verandas, outdoor fireplaces, a pool and spa, and a waterfall flowing into a lower plunge pool. A basketball court sits on the grounds, along with a gazebo pavilion. Below the main home, a covered dock with direct access to the water awaits.<\/p>\n

“The estate reflects the level of privacy, recreation, and waterfront living that continues to draw high-profile buyers to Lake Norman, particularly properties that feel more like a private resort than a traditional residence,” said listing agent Michelle Rhyne of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, according to Mansion Global.<\/a><\/p>\n When the NBA Finals start next week, Batum will serve on a panel of commentators for an international broadcast of the championship, according to Eurohoops.
