{"id":751537,"date":"2026-06-03T17:03:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T17:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/751537\/"},"modified":"2026-06-03T17:03:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T17:03:16","slug":"precious-achiuwa-gets-married-in-stunning-ceremony-after-two-year-run-with-knicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/751537\/","title":{"rendered":"Precious Achiuwa gets married in stunning ceremony after two-year run with Knicks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Free agent NBA forward Precious Achiuwa and his fianc\u00e9e Sarina tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, as seen in photos the pair shared in a joint Instagram post Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Achiuwa\u2019s,\u201d they wrote. <\/p>\n<p>The 6-foot-8 Nigerian shared a post that read, \u201cMr. &amp; Mrs\u201d on Saturday, including photos of the couple wearing white and posing together. <\/p>\n<p>Sarina wrote \u201cOfficially us\u201d in a Friday post with the same photos. <\/p>\n<p>The newlyweds are currently honeymooning in Croatia. <\/p>\n<p>Achiuwa is headed for free agency after completing a one-year deal with the Kings signed last November.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, he spent roughly two seasons with the Knicks and served as a solid bench player \u2014 appearing in 17 playoff games and two starts \u2014 before his contract expired last summer.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.38378378;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39567506\" width=\"816\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/new-york-knicks-forward-precious-98440742.jpg\" alt=\"New York Knicks forward Precious Achiuwa rebounds the ball during the first quarter.\" class=\"wp-image-39567506\"  \/>Precious Achiuwa spent two seasons with the Knicks. Murray- for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>Both Achiuwa and the Kings seem open to a reunion. <\/p>\n<p>During his end-of-season <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gt0GgvVvI0Y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">press conference<\/a>, Achiuwa shared his desire to continue playing for the Kings and head coach Doug Christie, adding that he enjoys living in Sacramento.<\/p>\n<p>Sacramento general manager Scott Perry was complimentary of Achiuwa\u2019s impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot bad for a guy who came off the couch in November,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IWETZKvTaOQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Perry said after the season.<\/a> \u201cReally enjoyed working with Precious this year. Got a chance to show a lot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just really like how, as the season wore on, he became more comfortable,\u201d Perry said. \u201cHe\u2019s a player who can guard multiple positions. He can play with the necessary athleticism, energy, and force.
