Jalen Williams<\/a> strongly believes that he could\u2019ve helped the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the San Antonio Spurs<\/a>. The one-time All-Star was ruled out for that game due to a lingering hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

With Williams on the sidelines, his co-star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander<\/a> had to carry the massive load for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The league MVP produced 35 points, four rebounds, nine assists, and three steals on 12-for-21 shooting from the field in 43 minutes, but still fell short.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t do the hypothetical thing too much because it does not solve anything that\u2019s going on right now. But to humor your question, obviously I think I could\u2019ve made an impact,\u201d Williams told the media via the Thunder Wire\u2019s Clemente Almanza.<\/a> \u201cI think we could\u2019ve won if I played. Went to seven with them without me playing. I don\u2019t think I make us worse.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re a good team. It would\u2019ve been a challenge if I played or not, but I definitely think I could have changed the series. But we\u2019ll just have to wait until we meet again at some point,\u201d he ended.<\/p>\n

After suffering a heartbreaking Game 7 loss, Alex Caruso said he is ready to run it back with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 32-year-old guard will be entering the second year of his four-year, $81.1 million contract, so he\u2019ll be spending the rest of his prime with the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I signed a long-term contract, so I\u2019m looking forward to being here a few more years.
