Stephen Curry<\/a> is regarded as the NBA\u2019s greatest shooter of all tim<\/a>e. His numbers and accolades back that up. What about being the greatest point guard of all time? He thinks he has a say on that honor.<\/p>\n

The names that usually pop up when it comes to the league\u2019s best PG ever<\/a> are Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, and Isiah Thomas. Curry wants to make it known that he is in the Top 2 of the list.<\/p>\n

The Warriors superstar was a guest in Gilber Arenas\u2019 show and was asked about his placing in the PG GOAT debate. He did not hesitate to put his name alongside Magic who for a long-time dominated the discussion.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes. I have to be. It\u2019s me and Magic,\u201d Curry said when asked by Arenas if he is the greatest point guard ever two years ago.<\/p>\n

Arenas tried to goad him and say that he is above the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> legend by bringing up his social impact but Curry deflected it by pointing out how great the argument is for Johnson to own the title. However, he is not closing doors and he believes he can go further<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Curry said he can go further and he will do it together with the people he went to battle with for the past decades. Steve Kerr is returning as a coach<\/a> after a long and emotional discussion last month. Draymond Green<\/a> will also return.<\/p>\n

Some critics think Curry, 38, sees his title window starting to close. And so, they need to get him a point guard<\/a> who can make plays for him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Warriors are going to be targeting a guard this offseason at least one,\u201d insider Brett Siegle said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey want another playmaker next to Steph Curry, somebody who can come in fulfill minutes next to him, be a shooter, play off the ball alongside him in some rotations.\u201d<\/p>\n
