LaVine is <a href=\"https:\/\/kingsherald.com\/articles\/report-zach-lavine-to-exercise-his-player-option-next-season\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">expected to opt in to collect his remaining $49 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/store.kingsherald.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Product Banner\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Product-Banner.jpg\" alt=\"\"   width=\"1182\" height=\"330\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trae Young Opting Out<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of opting in or out, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/49103130\/sources-wizards-trae-young-decline-option-free-agent\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">it was reported recently<\/a> that Trae Young will opt out of his player option for $48 million next season. While he is expected to re-sign with the Wizards, \u201cmultiple teams are expected to have interest.\u201d The Kings have been rumored in the past to be a suitor for Young. Highly doubtful anything transpires here, especially considering <a href=\"https:\/\/kingsherald.com\/articles\/sacramento-kings-still-have-no-interest-in-acquiring-trae-young\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in January it was reported<\/a> Sacramento still did not have interest, but worth noting.<\/p>\n<p>Kingston Flemings Works Out With Kings<\/p>\n<p>Separately, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/james_hamnba\/status\/2067438910373015936?s=46&amp;t=wMUYOWsynNsJLMOGXXAjJw\" rel=\"nofollow\">Kingston Flemings reportedly worked out<\/a> with the Kings last week. Flemings is widely expected to be available when Sacramento selects 7th in next week\u2019s NBA draft.
