LINCOLN, Neb (WOWT) – Former Nebraska forward Rienk Mast has signed his first NBA contract.<\/p>\n
According to a social media post from the Huskers, Mast signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Indiana Pacers. It is an NBA training camp contract that pays a one-year, non-guaranteed minimum salary unless converted into a two-way contract.<\/p>\n
Mast was named one of 10 players on the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Midseason List for 2025-26. He averaged 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in his final season of college basketball, one year removed from a devastating knee injury that prevented him from playing in 2024-25.<\/p>\n
Mast played in 34 games last year and was instrumental in Nebraska\u2019s run to the Sweet 16, which included its first NCAA Tournament wins over Troy and Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n
The Pacers signed former Husker guard Keisei Tominaga, a teammate of Mast\u2019s for the 2023-24 season, to an Exhibit 10 contract after the 2024 NBA Draft. He has spent time playing for the franchise\u2019s G League affiliate, the Indiana Mad Ants, and on the Pacers\u2019 summer league roster in 2025.<\/p>\n
