{"id":773059,"date":"2026-06-28T20:48:30","date_gmt":"2026-06-28T20:48:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/773059\/"},"modified":"2026-06-28T20:48:30","modified_gmt":"2026-06-28T20:48:30","slug":"new-heat-free-agent-targets-revealed-after-giannis-trade-in-latest-nba-rumors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/773059\/","title":{"rendered":"New Heat Free-Agent Targets Revealed After Giannis Trade in Latest NBA Rumors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The Miami Heat don&#8217;t have a ton of flexibility to add to the roster around the Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason, but a few veterans could intrigue them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">According to NBA insiders <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/marcstein.substack.com\/p\/lots-more-of-the-nbas-latest-trade\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Marc Stein and Jake Fischer<\/a>, &#8220;League sources say that the Heat will have strong interest in the veteran duo of Tim Hardaway Jr. and Mike Conley Jr.&#8221; with their &#8220;very limited financial flexibility.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Hardaway, 34, averaged 13.5 points and shot 40.7 percent from three for the Denver Nuggets last season, operating as a fantastic sixth man off the bench. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Conley, 38, averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 assists for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2025-26. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Hardaway would be a solid addition, though it&#8217;s hard to imagine Conley moving the needle much at this stage in his career.
