LINCOLN — The newest commit to the Nebraska women’s basketball 2027 class will be a homestate Husker.

That’s Papillion-La Vista South center Addison Medeck, who averaged 16.5 points and 12.2 rebounds per game for the Titans last season and shot 59% from the floor. She ranks as a four-star recruit according to both 247Sports, which has her No. 43 in the country, and ESPN, which has No. 75.

A second-team All-Nebraska selection in 2026, Medeck was also runner-up in the Class A state shot put competition. She announced her commitment on social media with both of a picture of herself as a young Husker fan and a video informing coach Amy Williams of the news.

She becomes the second commit in NU’s 2027 class, joining Sioux Falls (S.D.) Jefferson guard Brinley Altenberg, also a four-star prospect. NU’s 2026 class, one of its best in school history, features five-star forward Ashlyn Koupal and four-star guards Ava Miles and Maddi Stewart.

LINCOLN — The newest commit to the Nebraska women’s basketball 2027 class will be a homestate Husker. That’s Papillion-La…

[3723
7,15646,3474,13298,3472,217,71447,15644,231,772,12739,5188,1544,8905,8903,94804,94803,71448
post-777118","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-ncaa-basketball","tag-basketball","tag-big-eight-conference","tag-big-ten-conference","tag-big-ten-conference-football","tag-big-ten-conference-teams","tag-college-basketball","tag-former-big-12-conference-teams","tag-former-big-eight-conference-teams","tag-ncaa","tag-ncaa-basketball","tag-ncaa-division-i-fbs-football-seasons","tag-ncaa-division-i-fbs-football-teams","tag-ncaab","tag-nebraska-cornhuskers","tag-nebraska-cornhuskers-football","tag-nebraska-cornhuskers-football-seasons","tag-nebraska-cornhuskers-seasons","tag-university-of-nebraska-lincoln
["GET
