DETROIT \u2013 Forward Javonte Green<\/a> is returning to the Detroit Pistons<\/a>, agreeing to a one-year, $3.95 million contract.<\/p>\n

ESPN Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania reported the news on Friday (July 3) on X.<\/p>\n

Green appeared in all 82 regular-season games for Detroit last season, providing durability and reliable depth off the bench. <\/p>\n

He averaged 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 17.6 minutes per game while making six starts during the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n

He also shot a career-high 38.1% from the three-point line, establishing himself as a dependable perimeter option in Detroit\u2019s rotation. <\/p>\n

Green contributed across multiple categories last season, including defense and high-energy plays, helping stabilize the Pistons\u2019 second unit throughout the year.<\/p>\n

The Pistons have made continuity a priority this offseason as they look to build on last year\u2019s roster structure and depth. <\/p>\n

Detroit now boasts five players who shot above 36% from three-point range last season.<\/p>\n

Former Michigan Wolverines<\/a> star Duncan Robinson<\/a> led the group at 41%, followed by new acquisitions Isaiah Joe<\/a> at 42.3% and John Collins<\/a> at 40.6%.<\/p>\n
