AJ Dybantsa will make his debut for the Wizards during the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.His summer league schedule includes matchups against several other top-10 draft picks.<\/p>\n

On June 23, the Washington Wizards<\/a> made the obvious decision to select AJ Dybantsa<\/a> with the No. 1 overall pick, as he was coming off a season with the BYU Cougars<\/a> in which he led the country in scoring as a true freshman.<\/p>\n

The selection pairs Dybantsa with \u2014 for now \u2014 a pair of former All-Stars in point guard Trae Young and center Anthony Davis, the latter of whom has been in trade rumors over the last few days. The star-studded trio, plus being surrounded by a handful of former lottery picks, should compete for a spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.<\/p>\n

But first, Dybantsa will don a Wizards jersey during the 2026 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas<\/a>, where the league’s best rookies, sophomores and players trying to break into the NBA compete for at least five games.<\/p>\n

Here’s Dybantsa’s four-game schedule in Las Vegas, complete with times, dates and the streaming service.<\/p>\n

Of course, the NBA knew what they were doing when they constricted the summer league schedule. Dybantsa, as the top pick, will do battle against several other top selections in the 2026 draft.<\/p>\n

First, he’ll compete against No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson and the Utah Jazz on the first night of summer league on national television. From there, he’ll match up with No. 7 pick Darrius Acuff (Kings), No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson (Bulls), and No. 5 pick Keaton Wagler (Clippers) \u2014 that is, if Dybantsa lasts that long. In recent years, top picks have appeared in just two or three games during summer league, dominating early before being sat for the final couple games in order to not risk injury.<\/p>\n
