(FOX Carolina) &#8211; The first round of the NCAA Men\u2019s Basketball Tournament is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the arena, but you don\u2019t need a ticket to enjoy the hype surrounding the games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Bon Secours Wellness Arena has set up the Fan Zone outside the facility that features many free activities and give-aways for families.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Texas Christian University was the first team to celebrate a victory in Greenville after defeating Ohio State 66 to 64. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Additional matchups at the tournament include Duke University Blue Devils against Siena University Saints, along with the North Carolina Tar Heels against the Virginia Commonwealth University Rams. The final matchup on Thursday has the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign playing against the Nittany Lions of Penn State.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There will not be any games at the arena on Friday, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitgreenvillesc.com\/2026-ncaa-mens-basketball\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.visitgreenvillesc.com\/2026-ncaa-mens-basketball\/\">Fan Fest<\/a> will take place at NOMA Square from 4 p.m until 10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Fan Zone activities outside the arena when the tournament games resume on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">Feel more informed, prepared, and connected with FOX Carolina.
