Stephen A. Smith is never short on words. The NBA analyst is surely a fan of his own voice. Kevin Durant, on the other hand, is typically unapologetic with his.<\/p>\n

This is especially true when it comes to his social media presence. The Phoenix Suns superstar can usually be found lurking on Twitter\/X, reading to deal out some punishment that is almost as deadly as his jump shot.<\/p>\n

The topic that was up for questioning today was the NBA All-Star Game. There have been some recent changes that have made fans quite excited.<\/p>\n

Adam Silver revealed that after a disappointing 2024 format for the All-Star festivities, the league will once again be trying something new. The change was something everyone could get behind.<\/p>\n

USA vs. World will be the focus of the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. Many were pleading for this format after the brutal experience that was 2025.<\/p>\n

Smith clearly thought the players were most to blame for the shortcomings of this season’s NBA All-Star Game. The ESPN personality made it clear<\/a> that if this next idea does not pan out, it is all entirely on today’s stars.<\/p>\n

Smith said, “If this doesn’t work, I think you’re going to see the NBA do away with All-Star weekend. And this era of players will forever be stained for the rest of their lives because All-Star weekend was banished because of a lack of effort.”<\/p>\n

Those are some big stakes handed out by the loudest man at ESPN. Durant thought the assessment was a little bit too much. The Suns superstar responded to the message on Twitter\/X with one word, ‘dramatic.’<\/p>\n

Durant kept it short, simple, and, ironically, very undramatic himself. The message gave many of those reading a good laugh.<\/p>\n
