Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull gave her fans a surprise on Thursday and it\u2019s not about her amazing 3-point shooting.<\/p>\n

The WNBA star announced she will host her own basketball camp this summer, bringing the excitement off the court and into the gym for young players.<\/p>\n

The event, called the Simple Truth Basketball Camp, will take place on June 28 at the Aletto Family Sports Center in Carmel, Indiana. It will run from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., and is open to boys and girls in grades 1 through 8.<\/p>\n

The cost is $125 per camper and includes special take-home items like a signed souvenir, a camp photo with Hull, and a limited-edition t-shirt.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so excited to host my SimpleTruth4U Basketball Camp this summer!\u201d Hull wrote\u00a0on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019ll work on all aspects of the game\u2014skills, teamwork, confidence\u2014and of course, HAVE FUN!\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans immediately flooded Hull\u2019s Instagram post with comments of excitement, appreciation and a few lighthearted jokes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you lexi for taking the time being a great roll model for the kids !!!\u201d one wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cKids are going to have a blast! Go Fever! Go Lexie!!\u201d another added.<\/p>\n

One fan joked, \u201cWhat’s the age limit? Asking for a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should definitely do one for high schoolers,\u201d another person suggested.<\/p>\n

One parent chimed in with, \u201cMy kindergartner can\u2019t wait to be a first grader to do this hopefully next year!\u201d<\/p>\n

The camp is just one more way Hull is stepping up in 2025. With Caitlin Clark sidelined due to a quad injury, Hull has taken on a bigger role for the Fever and she\u2019s shining.<\/p>\n

Through seven games this season, Hull is averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. She also leads the entire WNBA in 3-point shooting, hitting a blazing 55.6% from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n

She scored 14 points in Tuesday\u2019s win over the Washington Mystics, helping the Fever snap a three-game losing streak.<\/p>\n

And even with big games ahead, including a Saturday matchup against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky, Hull is still making time to give back to young athletes.<\/p>\n

So, while Caitlin Clark may be the biggest name on the Fever, Lexie Hull is becoming just as important both on the court and in the community. And for dozens of lucky kids later this month, she\u2019s about to become their coach, too.<\/p>\n
