He provided scoring and a hard-nosed defensive personality that helped the team make a surprise run to the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-273d04fe=\"\">Brooks is entering the final season of an $86 million, four-year deal he signed with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nba\/houston-rockets-team\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Houston Rockets<\/a> in 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-273d04fe=\"\">The Suns have spent much of the offseason locking up the core of last season&#8217;s team to long-term deals, including guards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nba\/collin-gillespie-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collin Gillespie<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nba\/jordan-goodwin-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Goodwin<\/a>, along with center <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nba\/mark-williams-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Williams<\/a>.
