She would have had to miss Tuesday\u2019s game against New York.<\/p>\n<p>But, a WNBA spokesman said the technical had been rescinded a few hours after the game ended.<\/p>\n<p>In the third quarter of the <a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/indiana-fever-chicago-sky-score-wnba-a7bc7d82994a7bdcda32c6fcbbb6eb72\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fever\u2019s 90-86 win<\/a> over the Sky, Clark made contact with a referee when she was forced out of bounds and was called for a technical foul.<\/p>\n<p>After the game, Clark said the contact was inadvertent and that no words were exchanged. She was hopeful the WNBA would rescind the foul.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe said I ran into her,\u201d Clark said of the referee. \u201cI have already watched it on the tape. So, we\u2019ll let the league decide. But, it wasn\u2019t anything intentional or anything. So, I hope it gets rescinded. And, nothing was said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clark got her wish.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s a bad call, incidental contact when you\u2019re flying out of control,\u201d Fever coach Stephanie White said. \u201cI thought her teammates should have come up and talked to her about that as well.
