After ending his college career at Georgia, Jones was picked up with the 27th overall selection of the 1999 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks.<\/p>\n<p>The Cocoa, Florida native would play the first two seasons of his pro career with the Philadelphia 76ers instead, however, after a draft night deal.
