Orange County\u2019s Neighborhood Services Division has awarded Central Florida Dreamplex<\/a> a $15,000 Youth Sports Enhancement Grant<\/a>. The funds will help the local nonprofit to expand its Orlando Magic Dreamers youth wheelchair basketball program.<\/p>\n \u201cWheelchair basketball gave me a space where my disability didn\u2019t hold me back,\u201d said Adriel Rosario, a 16-year-old member of the Orlando Magic Dreamers. \u201cThe team gave me a community where I belong and a court where I can compete at full strength.\u201d<\/p>\n Related: New Multicultural Senior Center offers programs, resources and community connections<\/a><\/p>\n The grant will support the purchase of uniforms and specialized sports wheelchairs.
