The Los Angeles Lakers won 112-108.\" class=\"wp-image-2592953\" \/>Photo by Emilee Chinn\/Getty ImagesHow Tyrese Maxey convinced LeBron James to join the Philadelphia 76ers<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the Numbers on the Board podcast, Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey revealed that he had been trying to recruit LeBron James to the team for years.<\/p>\n<p>While his previous attempt to lure the King to the City of Brotherly Love hadn\u2019t worked, Maxey and James\u2019 agent, Rich Paul, encouraged the All-Star to reach out to LeBron and convince him to join.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDid I call? For sure. Like, I didn\u2019t know at first if it was possible or not. So, man, holla at him if what you\u2019re thinking.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo I hit him and was like, \u2018Yo, you know, like pull up, like I think we got a good chance, I feel like you can help us. You arguably the greatest of all-time, so it\u2019s like, why wouldn\u2019t we want you on our team?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know what I mean?
