The Charlotte Hornets have a new broadcasting deal for local games starting in the 2026-27 season.Games will air on WSOC Channel 9 and TV64 for viewers in the Charlotte area.The team has not yet announced how fans outside of Charlotte can watch games.A direct-to-consumer streaming option will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n
The Charlotte Hornets<\/a> received big news Wednesday, as the team has agreed to a new broadcasting deal for non-nationally televised games beginning during the 2026-27 season. These games will now air on WSOC Channel 9 and TV64 across the Charlotte region.<\/p>\n However, the Hornets have yet to announce a way for non-local fans to tune in, saying in a statement<\/a>, “Details on the markets and television stations outside of Charlotte for fans to watch games throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, along with a direct-to-consumer streaming platform, will be announced at a later date.”<\/p>\n Earlier this offseason, the Hornets had been linked<\/a> to a direct-to-consumer deal with global sports platform DAZN, a deal that could still come to fruition but has yet to be reported.
