Smith is just 6-foot-2, though he has a great combination of tools that make him drastically more impactful than only his height would suggest. He has a great combination of speed, strength and leaping ability, coupled with a 6-foot-9 wingspan.<\/p>\n

Defensively, Smith is certain to be one of the more impactful of the potential lottery picks. Not only does his combination of tools lend itself to pesky perimeter defense, he also has the motor and try to make a massive impact.<\/p>\n
Smith has great timing for when to stunt and gap, as well as jumping lanes and turning defense to offense. He\u2019s not a highly-adept shot-blocker, but has much more juice than your typical 6-foot-2 guard.<\/p>\n
Guards of Smith\u2019s archetype usually don\u2019t come built with elite defense, making selecting a 6-foot-2 combo guard easier on the decision-maker.<\/p>\n
Smith\u2019s height is certain to cause challenges at the NBA level, though his motor, effort and skill help bridge the gap.<\/p>\n
