Waltham barber cuts hair for France\u2019s World Cup stars in Boston<\/p>\n

A Waltham barber known for cutting the hair of Boston Celtics stars added international soccer royalty to his client list during the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Coco Fernandez got his start giving $5 haircuts in the cafeteria at MassBay Community College. After a few months, he pivoted to barber school and later launched his own mobile barber business, MOBAR<\/a>, and quickly made a name for himself. <\/p>\n

After cutting Terry Rozier’s hair, his clientele grew to include other Celtics players Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. In 2020, he opened a brick-and-mortar shop in Waltham. <\/p>\n

When France’s national team arrived in Boston, Fernandez was asked to travel to their hotel to cut hair for Kylian Mbapp\u00e9, Ousmane Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 and D\u00e9sir\u00e9 Dou\u00e9.<\/p>\n
