The Dallas Mavericks and Audacy announced a multi-year partnership Thursday, designating 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM) as the flagship radio station for the NBA franchise.<\/p>\n
The agreement expands the team\u2019s broadcast footprint to more than 9 million listeners across North Texas, with additional distribution throughout the state via the Texas State Network. Game broadcasts will also stream nationwide on the Audacy app, 105.3 The Fan’s website, and SiriusXM.<\/p>\n
“105.3 The Fan has built tremendous equity in the market with sports fans across North Texas, and we\u2019re excited to bring the Dallas Mavericks to the Audacy family,” said Gina Miller, Chief Communications Officer for the Dallas Mavericks. “This partnership is about giving Mavs fans more ways to connect with the team, from game broadcasts to weekly programming, while significantly expanding our reach across Texas.”<\/p>\n
Chuck Cooperstein, entering his 22nd season as the radio voice of the Mavericks, will return for play-by-play duties alongside analyst Brian Dameris for all regular-season contests.<\/p>\n
In addition to live game coverage, the partnership introduces a line-up of new weekly programming across Audacy platforms:<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 “Mavs Insider Access”: A weekly segment featuring interviews with franchise leadership, including President of Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri, General Manager Mike Schmitz, Head Coach Dusty May, and current players.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 “Inside the Mavs with Chuck Cooperstein”: A weekly show hosted by Cooperstein offering analysis of the team and storylines around the NBA.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 “Mavs Basketball Hour”: A weekly deep dive focusing on the roster, game recaps, and league headlines.<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 “Mavs Beyond the Court”: A weekly program airing on sister station KRLD examining the franchise’s business operations, community initiatives, and local impact across North Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Gavin Spittle, Vice President of News, Talk, and Sports for Audacy Dallas, highlighted the impact of adding the franchise to the station’s portfolio.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Serving as the proud, 100,000-watt home of the Dallas Mavericks is something we are truly excited about,” Spittle said. “At The Fan, we can’t wait to keep expanding our multi-platform experience to deliver the best content to sports fans.”<\/p>\n
The Mavericks’ complete radio and television broadcast schedules for the upcoming season will be released at a later date.<\/p>\n
