He almost certainly signed an <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopsrumors.com\/2025\/07\/hoops-rumors-glossary-exhibit-10-contract-4.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Exhibit 10<\/a> deal to receive a bonus worth up to $91K (on top of his typical salary) to play for Boston\u2019s G League affiliate in Maine.<\/p>\n<p>A 6\u20195\u2033 wing who went undrafted out of Division III Hamilton College in 2025, Morgan spent his first professional season in the NBAGL with the Salt Lake City Stars and the Maine Celtics.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.celticsblog.com\/celtics-features-profiles\/136405\/the-g-leagues-lone-division-iii-talent-is-finding-his-place-in-maine\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Robby Fletcher of CelticsBlog<\/a>, Morgan was the only former D-III player competing in the NBAGL last season. The 24-year-old initially thought he\u2019d be playing professionally in Canada\u2019s Basketball Super League, but the BSL season was delayed and he ended up attending an open tryout with the Stars last fall and earned a roster spot after impressing Utah\u2019s affiliate club.<\/p>\n<p>Salt Lake City waived Morgan in January after he averaged just 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 10.1 minutes per game across 15 appearances. However, he told Fletcher that he was determined to be aggressive if he received another opportunity and played better for Maine down the stretch.<\/p>\n<p>In 17 games with the Celtics\u2019 affiliate, Morgan averaged 8.2 PPG, 2.6 RPG and 1.5 APG in 19.2 MPG, with a shooting line of .472\/.424\/.750.
