fun on social media during the schedule reveal, as Jayden Ross played Pictionary to try and draw the logos and notable landmarks of the opponents for Silas Demary Jr., Junior County and Nik Khamenia to try and guess

The schedule features 20 games, with an even split of 10 home and away matchups. Of the 10 home games, five will be played at Gampel Pavilion and five at the PeoplesBank Arena. All tip-off times and home venue designations have yet to be revealed, but are expected in the coming weeks.

The Big East slate starts at home for the Huskies as they welcome Georgetown two days before Christmas on Dec. 23. The only other game in December is on New Year’s Eve on the road in Indianapolis against Butler. UConn plays Virginia at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Dec. 20, the weekend in which all of the other Big East teams open up conference play.

January is quite a busy month for the Huskies, playing nine games. The first game of 2027 comes on Jan. 3 in Omaha against Creighton before returning home on Jan. 6 against DePaul. On Jan. 9, UConn goes to its “House of Horrors” in Newark to take on Seton Hall looking to make it two-straight road wins against the Pirates.

The following week sees the Huskies host Marquette and Xavier before going back on the road for the local rivalry matchup against Providence. This is the start of a three road game in four game stretch that ends with a trip to Georgetown and the highly anticipated clash at MSG against St. John’s. The game against the Red Storm will be on a Friday night for the second-straight season, this year on Jan. 29. Sandwiched in between that road stretch is the home game against Butler, the first team that UConn will complete its season series with, on Jan. 23.

Five of the remaining nine games are at home after that. The first week of February projects to be a challenging one as the Huskies host Villanova and Creighton. The Wildcats are the last team in the league that UConn will see for the first time, all the way on Feb. 3. They’ll play them a second time the following week, as after a road game at DePaul the Huskies will be spending Super Bowl Sunday in South Philadelphia at Xfinity Mobile Arena against Villanova. The team closes February with games at home against Seton Hall, on the road against Marquette, and at home against Providence.

UConn has two final regular season games before postseason play, hosting St. John’s on March 2 and visiting Xavier on March 6. Since UConn is playing Virginia, that counts as their “weekend bye” on the schedule. The Huskies’ “weekday bye” doesn’t come until the last week of February in the 10th week of conference play, setting up a very long stretch of play in which the team will play two games a week, something that will be interesting to monitor all winter long.
