The technical difficulties were clearly unexpected, as Schrager tossed to\u00a0NBA Today host Hannah Storm at the end of his show, only for the re-air of\u00a0Big Day to start instead.<\/p>\n<p>It is quite uncommon for an entire hour of programming to be missed due to technical difficulties. Throughout the first 33 minutes of the\u00a0Big Day re-air, the ticker indicated that\u00a0NBA Today was \u201ccurrently experiencing technical difficulties,\u201d before the network appeared to throw in the towel and update the ticker to say the show will return tomorrow at its regularly scheduled time.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">ESPN 2 had to re-air Peter Schrager\u2019s new show at 3 p.m. today due to technical difficulties with NBA Today. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hNlpFH3o0R\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/hNlpFH3o0R<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Awful Announcing (@awfulannouncing) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/awfulannouncing\/status\/2100309596053111167?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\">September 16, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday\u2019s issues were audio related, Awful Announcing has learned, and have been addressed ahead of Thursday\u2019s episode, which is scheduled for ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth mentioning that\u00a0NBA Today recently moved its operation to the NFL Network studios in Inglewood after emanating from ESPN\u2019s L.A. Live studio space for many years.
