The Minnesota Timberwolves are back in action<\/a> on Thursday night for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, after dropping Game 1 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, a series they entered as sizable underdogs<\/a>. After Tuesday\u2019s loss, superstar guard Anthony Edwards wasn\u2019t <\/a>concerned.<\/p>\n

Instead, he sounded determined to make a greater impact in Game 2, after newly named 2024-25 NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (and his foul-baiting<\/a> tactics) dominated the second half on Tuesday. No matter how much of a slop fest SGA made Game 1 though, the Minnesota Timberwolves can only blame themselves for coming up short.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s tough to win a basketball game when you shoot just 15-of-51 from deep and allow 31 points on 19 turnovers. Anthony Edwards was largely irrelevant<\/a> and he addressed that postgame. Ultimately I\u2019m sure Edwards would gladly drop another F-bomb and more thousands in exuberance following a Timberwolves win on Thursday night.
