A COLLEGE basketball star has died in a horror ATV crash – only hours after he shared a cryptic social media post that spoke about being given another chance in life.<\/p>\n

Cameron Woodall, 26, lost control of his quad which then overturned late on Saturday night in rural Mississippi.<\/p>\n

Woodall, a former forward at Grambling State University, died from his injuries, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hours before the crash on Friday, he shared a quote that was uploaded by a Rod Wave fan account.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI get so excited when I open my eyes and realize God gave me another chance,\u201d the post said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

That proved to be Woodall\u2019s final social media post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His Facebook account has been inundated with messages of condolences and tributes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Woodall\u2019s devastated mom, Haley, described her son as the \u201cgreatest of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy baby boy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always called you the Goat because you are just that and the love you are receiving from everybody is proving you were in fact the GREATEST OF ALL TIME !!!\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not ready to accept it just yet but i love you so much baby boy.. my goodness.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a second post<\/a>, Haley said her heart had been broken in a \u201cmillion pieces\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt least i got to hear you tell me \u201ci love you\u201d as our last words to each other,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Woodall won titles when he was at high school in Raymond. <\/p>\n

He also played basketball for Tougaloo College and the athletics team posted a glowing tribute online. <\/p>\n

They hailed his fierce competitiveness that he showed on the court and said he had a kind-hearted personality.<\/p>\n

“Cam left an indelible mark on the Tougaloo family,” they said.<\/p>\n

“His impact extended far beyond basketball; he was a friend, a brother, and a true Bulldog through and through.”<\/p>\n

Woodall’s devastated pals described him as a “legend.”<\/p>\n

“I wish u was here to see how many lives you truly touched,” Jasmine Nishell said.<\/p>\n

“Ball in heaven son.”<\/p>\n

Another person was also injured in an ATV crash on the night of Woodall’s accident.<\/p>\n
