Rumors are spreading that Kevin Durant has teamed up with Victor Wembanyama at the San Antonio Spurs<\/a>. Sports analyst Bill Simmons predicted that the Spurs have already made a deal with the Phoenix Suns<\/a> to trade Durant to their team. <\/p>\n While there aren’t any formal announcements regarding the trade yet, Simmons believes the Spurs are waiting for the 2025 NBA draft to conclude before officially making the trade public. <\/p>\n \u201cI wouldn\u2019t be surprised if (Kevin Durant) to the Spurs is done already and they just haven\u2019t announced it,” Simmons said via the “Bill Simmons Podcast”. “Basically, they\u2019ve agreed on specifics, just announce it on the week of the draft. This goes back to the Giannis thing. <\/p>\n \u2022 <\/p>\n “I think they trade for “KD” because it just costs less. They\u2019ll be able to be real competitive and maybe go a couple of rounds in the playoffs, but they\u2019re also going to keep the No. 2 pick and do it that way, which is my prediction,” he added. <\/p>\n While there is a genuine possibility of this trade scenario happening, fans will have to wait for the Spurs organization to make it official. <\/p>\n Draymond Green reveals Kevin Durant nearly traded to Warriors <\/p>\n Kevin Durant<\/a> has been on the trading block since before the 2025 trade deadline.
