During the Indy 500 – every driver gets a street sign, during the Big 10 Tournament – every school gets a street sign, and now with Indianapolis hosting the NBA finals – every player gets a street sign. Pacer fans didn’t give a shit that the Knicks put up street signs, Boston fans were laughing at you for turning 6th Ave into Cam Payne Place for a second round victory. Celtics fans danced on the Knicks grave more than Pacer fans. I was on record saying the timing is weird, NYC should either do it before the playoffs or for the finals, because a second round celebration is strange – but go off. Knicks fans don’t have basketball to talk about at this point of the season, so I guess they have to concern themselves with more street sign talk.
