Yahoo! Sports\u2019 Kevin O\u2019Connor reports that league sources have told him that Joe Dumars\u2019 front office has been \u2018aggressively\u2019 trying to turn their No. 7 pick into one in the Top 3. <\/p>\n
O\u2019Connor revealed what he\u2019s heard from league sources in his most recent mock draft<\/a>. O\u2019Connor said his sources have told him that the Pelicans are targeting swingman Ace Bailey out of Rutgers if they can move up to the No. 3 pick. <\/p>\n O\u2019Connor suggested that the Pelicans can make this possible by offering Herb Jones and a low-value 2026 first-round pick they have from the Pacers. <\/p>\n MORE PELICANS<\/p>\n Bailey, 18, is the prospect with a skillset most comparable to presumed No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg out of Duke. The 6\u203210 playmaker is capable as a shooter anywhere on the floor and with the ball in his hands.
