The Phoenix Suns are expected to have a very busy offseason as they try to rebuild their roster after another disappointing season.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Suns finished 11th\u00a0in the Western Conference with an abysmal 36-46 record as they missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign.<\/p>\n

Due to this, Phoenix is expected to move on from both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal this summer to rebuild their roster around Devin Booker as they try to turn their franchise around.<\/p>\n

With Durant likely on the move once again, there have been many teams linked to the future Hall of Famer including the San Antonio Spurs, Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets.<\/p>\n

Yahoo Sports\u2019 Kevin O\u2019Connor recently came up with a mock trade that would send Durant to a surprise Eastern Conference team in the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade that would land Phoenix Paul George.<\/p>\n

In the trade, O\u2019Connor has Phoenix sending Durant to Philadelphia in exchange for George and two first-round picks.<\/p>\n

With this trade making its way to social media, Suns fans gave their thoughts on it and they were all in agreement.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoesn\u2019t make sense for Phoenix,\u201d one fan commented<\/a>. \u201cDowngrade in talent and durability. If you\u2019re going to tear it down get guys who can grow or bring you to the playoffs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNO,\u201d another fan posted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy would the Suns do this,\u201d one fan asked<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Suns could do way better. Why would they want George and Beal on the same team, other than going for an all bad contract starting 5,\u201d another fan commented<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is clear that Suns fans are not open to the idea of swapping Durant for George, though they would be receiving two picks in the trade as well, though O\u2019Connor did not specify which picks.<\/p>\n

Of course, George had a terrible first season in Philadelphia as he struggled with injuries which led to his sub-par play on the court.<\/p>\n

Because of this, the Suns would likely hold off on this proposed deal as they try to ring in younger talent to build around Booker for the future.<\/p>\n
