Questions and answers have been edited for brevity and clarity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Q: Do you think you can be successful here? What does success look like?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Krinsky: We\u2019re not going to have half the league wear Reebok. That\u2019s not our goal. Our goal is to really sign some unique personalities and build an icon business with a few athletes. \u2026 What success looks like for us is to be a major player again.\u202fWe just launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/06\/04\/netflix-doc-follows-shaq-iversons-reebok-revamp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/06\/04\/netflix-doc-follows-shaq-iversons-reebok-revamp\/\">Netflix show<\/a>, and one of the things [Shaquille O\u2019Neal] says is, we were never No. 1, but we weren\u2019t three either. We were right up there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Q: Why is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/05\/28\/reebok-unveils-angel-reeses-signature-logo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/05\/28\/reebok-unveils-angel-reeses-signature-logo\/\">Angel Reese<\/a> the basketball player that you\u2019re building around, and how does that fit into the larger storytelling and business arc?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Krinsky: If you think about when we\u2019ve really been successful, it\u2019s been having these bigger-than-life personalities that are embracing on- and off-the-court culture. \u2026 Angel [Reese] is a provocative disruptor. But she doesn\u2019t do it just for clicks or whatever. She does it because she really has this very, kind of unique, rebellious attitude. And those are the type of athletes that &#8212; athletes have something to say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Q: How much is the WNBA and women\u2019s basketball a part of your core strategy?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Krinsky: I would say the WNBA is right at the core of what we\u2019re doing. We\u2019ve got Angel, we\u2019ve got the other athletes, like Dijonai (Carrington), we\u2019ve signed. We\u2019re going to sign more WNBA players as we go.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Q: What do you actually get out of the NIL deals with high school and college basketball players?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-marketing-and-sponsorship \">Krinsky: The business is getting younger and younger.
