Bronny James was one of the most high-profile NBA prospects ever, mainly because he\u2019s the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.<\/p>\n

Similarly, albeit not quite to the same extent, Shedeur Sanders received so much media attention before the 2025 NFL Draft, as his father is Dallas Cowboys legend Deion Sanders.<\/p>\n

The two young players are clearly talented in their own right, but will be held to higher standards than they should due to their profiles.<\/p>\n

One former NBA<\/a> player has now compared the two with brutal honesty, picking out one clear difference between them.<\/p>\n

Bronny James is already one season into his NBA career<\/a> after the Lakers were beaten 4-1 by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference<\/a> First Round.<\/p>\n

James showed flashes of potential<\/a>, usually late in blowout games, but received most of his playing time with the G League team.<\/p>\n

Shedeur Sanders, on the other hand, has only just been drafted by the Cleveland Browns. He was expected to go in the first round and fell to the fifth. <\/p>\n

Speaking about Sanders\u2019 stock falling, he picked whether he or James<\/a> is \u201cactually good\u201d as they try to make a name for themselves.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s going to get more love than Bronny because people know he was good,\u201d Teague explained on his podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo know he got dropped like that in the draft or whatever, people are going to champion him because he\u2019s going to be on the bench, and people are going to be like, \u2018Put Shedeur in.\u2019 I think he\u2019ll get more love. <\/p>\n

\u201cBronny, people think LeBron\u2026 people didn\u2019t think Bronny was good. You know what I mean? [Shedeur] was actually good.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Bronny James\u2019 regular season averages are not impressive in the slightest, but that\u2019s not necessarily anything to be concerned about.<\/p>\n

First things first, he was the 55th pick in the draft, and players taken around then typically either don\u2019t develop into NBA players or take a few years. That alone should lower expectations on the 20-year-old. <\/p>\n

Then, there\u2019s also the fact that his production in the G League was excellent. He put up 21.9 points per game in the developmental league.<\/p>\n
