Multiple teams are interested in trading for Phoenix Suns star small forward Kevin Durant, who will be traded this offseason.<\/p>\n

According to multiple reports, the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors are interested in trading for the 36-year-old Durant, who turns 37 in the fall and has one year left on his contract.<\/p>\n

A top 75 player of all time, Durant doesn’t have a no-trade clause in his contract, so he can’t control where he is playing next season.<\/p>\n

KD has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns.<\/p>\n

Some people believe the Timberwolves are the favorite to trade for Durant. However,\u00a0according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic<\/a>, Minnesota is not close to trading for the Texas product.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves tried to trade for Durant at the February NBA trade deadline. Durant and Anthony Edwards were teammates on Team USA last summer. They are close friends.<\/p>\n

Edwards has said multiple times that Durant, the eighth leading scorer in NBA history, is his favorite basketball player of all time.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves made the conference finals this year for the second season in a row, losing to the Thunder in five games.<\/p>\n

A future Hall of Famer, Durant appeared in 62 games for the Suns this season. He averaged\u00a026.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting 52.7% from the field, 43.0% from 3 and 83.9% from the foul line.<\/p>\n

Durant\u00a0won the 2014 MVP Award with the Thunder and back-to-back championships and Finals MVPs with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018.<\/p>\n

Minnesota made a blockbuster trade last year, trading Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks for Julius Randle and\u00a0Donte DiVincenzo.<\/p>\n

Only time will tell if the Timberwolves trade for Durant next.<\/p>\n
