For two decades, NFL players have graced our screens and the dance floor as contestants on “Dancing with the Stars.” Just two years ago, Eagles cornerback Jonathan Jones watched on as his former Patriots teammate Danny Amendola made it the finals of Season 33.

Jones couldn’t believe his eyes.

“When he was going off, I was talking to him,” Jones said. “I told him he’s a better dancer than I thought he was. I give him that.”

So, what better way to get to know the two-time Super Bowl Champion than answering questions inspired by the current stars as both the NFL season and “Dancing with the Stars” kick off?

Amber Glenn & Ezra Frech (Olympian & Paralympian)

Question: If you were not a football player, what Olympic sport would you do?

Jones: “Probably track and field for summer. And then winter, probably bobsled. Ever seen the movie Jamaican bobsled (Cool Runnings)? Good movie.”

The Reality TV Stars (Tyler Cameron, Ciara Miller, & Maura Higgins)

Question: If you could pitch a reality tv show, what would it be?

Jones: “Athletes following people around and antagonizing them when they make bad plays in real life. If somebody filed a paper in the wrong place and they go, ‘BOOO, you suck! You suck, get off the field!’ … Athletes just following people around and booing them when they mess up in the job.”

Giada De Laurentiis (Celebrity Cook)

Question: What is the best thing you can cook? What do you do to make it special?

Jones: “So my wife’s Brazilian, so I’ve been getting good with the picanha on the grill, adding a good salt to it, trying to get my way around the picanha and putting that on the grill. So that’s up and coming.”

Julia Stiles (Actor, 10 Things I Hate About You)

Question: What is your favorite movie of all time? Why?

Jones: “Sandlot probably. It’s iconic. It’s up there. Just a kids’ sports movie growing up. Sandlot was just a good movie. Good classic.”
