The Houston Texans return to NRG Stadium on Sunday, looking to bounce back from their 36-31 Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills. They will host the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m. EDT on September 20, with the game airing on CBS. Cincinnati enters the matchup at 1-0 after beating Tampa Bay 33-27 in Week 1.

Harlan is one of CBS’ veteran NFL play-by-play voices and has handled some of the league’s biggest games during his broadcasting career. Hill has served as an NFL referee since 2019 after working at several other officiating positions earlier in his career. The Texans-Bengals game marks his second assignment of the 2026 season after his crew officiated 17 total games in 2025. Recent history connects Houston with Hill’s group, as his crew officiated the Texans’ 2025 matchup against Buffalo, a game in which Houston was flagged five times for 40 penalty yards while drawing six penalties for 54 yards on the Bills.
