Baker Mayfield Injury Watch

So Baker Mayfield took a hard hit from Browns edge rusher Jared Verse with 10:03 remaining in the fourth quarter.
He came crashing down on his throwing shoulder.
CBS cameras caught Mayfield on the Bucs sideline poking at his armpit. He then got looked at in the Bucs’ medical tent, per CBS, and looked in pain. Mayfield also was shown to be seemingly try to stretch his arm a few minutes later.
What does it mean? That’s unclear.
But at best, Mayfield was banged up. In typical Mayfield fashion, the forced throw on the scramble was dangerous and into a crowd. It ended up being a great pass breakup by Ted Hurst. Cade Otton was open for a first down and/or a touchdown on the play.
After last season, Joe has to pay very close attention to every Mayfield bump, bruise and twist.
As Joe types this during the fourth-quarter lightning delay, Joe wonders how the Bucs’ medical staff is working to make sure Mayfield’s arm/shoulder stays loose.
