The University of Georgia released its 2025 football season schedule. The Bulldogs will play seven home games and three away games with two neutral site games rounding off the 12 game regular season schedule.

The Bulldogs will be back between the hedges for their season opener against Marshall on Aug. 30, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. UGA football has won 11 straight season openers and have not lost a season opener in the Kirby Smart era.

UGA will then host Austin Peay on Sept. 6 at 3:30 p.m. This will be the second matchups between the two teams with the only other matchup ending in a 45-0 victory for the Bulldogs.

UGA’s first of three away games against Tennessee in Neyland Stadium in Nashville is on Sept. 13 at 3:30 p.m. The Bulldogs have won the last eight matchups against the Volunteers.

The next week will bring a chance at revenge for the Bulldogs when they host Alabama on Sept. 27, in Sanford Stadium. The Crimson Tide have won nine of the last ten matchups, including last year’s 41-34 victory against the Bulldogs.

Sanford Stadium will host Kentucky on Oct. 4, before the Bulldogs travel to Auburn to play in “The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry,” on Oct. 11.

While the Rebels got the best of the Bulldogs last season 28-10, the Bulldogs will return home for a matchup against Ole Miss on Oct. 18.

After a bye week the Bulldogs will travel to Jacksonville to face the Florida Gators on Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m. The Bulldogs will then have their final true away game of the season against Mississippi State on Nov. 8.

The marquee matchup on the schedule will be when Texas visits Athens for the first time ever on Nov. 15. The SEC championship rematch will offer the Longhorns a chance at revenge after the Bulldogs beat them twice in the 2024 season.

The last home game of the season will be against Charlotte on Nov. 22.

The 2025 regular season will come to a close against Georgia Tech in the Mercedes Benz Stadium on Friday, Nov. 28 at 3:30 p.m. This will be the first time since 1913 the “Clean Old-Fashioned Hate” game will be held off-campus.
