It’s been a downward spiral for the Chargers since the NFL season began two weeks ago, and their fan base appears to have had enough.
Former NFL coach Jon Gruden had a live caller appear on his show, “The Gruden Family Football Show,” hosted by Barstool Sports, and the fan appeared to have reached his limit.
At first, the fan seemed calm when he told Gruden, “Just a little concerned.” But then he erupted into a full scream that left Gruden trying not to burst out into laughter.
“What the f–k is going on in Los Angeles?” the fan said. “How the f–k do you lose to the two worst teams in the league?”

The fan went on to call out head coach Jim Harbaugh for his iconic “Who’s got it better than us?” quote by responding to it, saying, “Everybody does!”
The fan’s message was stopped at this point in the video, and it left Gruden and his co-hosts, his brother, Jay Gruden, and Kayce Smith, erupting into laughter.
Jon and Jay went on to add insult to injury during the segment by saying the Chargers’ problem starts with their uniforms: “They gotta look like a team.”
“I think it starts with those putrid uniforms. You know if I was coming out of the tunnel with a light blue shirt and yellow pants,” Jon said. “I mean, they gotta go back to the old Charger uniforms. The nice blue jersey, the navy blue with white pants.”
Jon said he agreed with the caller and that the Chargers need to “get their s–t together.”
The segment ended with them discussing the Chargers’ need to find a way to protect quarterback Justin Herbert.

Through two games this season, Pro Football Focus said Herbert is the second-highest-pressured quarterback from defenses with a 45.5% pressure rate.
Despite a high pressure rate, Herbert is ranked as the ninth most-sacked (six) quarterback this season, while Malik Willis leads the poll with nine.
On Friday, Harbaugh was asked about Herbert being pressured so heavily and said, “The first two weeks, there’s really nothing we can do about that. It’s all about going forward.”
Aside from Herbert’s struggles to play in a clean pocket, the Chargers’ offense ranks among the league’s worst this season, averaging 14 points a game (29th in the league) and 22nd in total yards (228).

Los Angeles can find some solace in the rankings. The Cowboys — who finished second in offense last season — are ranked behind them in total yards.
With 15 regular-season games left, the Chargers have a long season ahead of them.
